I believe this is a Bettoney or Haynes flute. The serial number is the same on all three pieces. Other than the patent date and the year and the serial number I cannot find any other markings. It has been tested and definitely is sterling. All pieces slide together smoothly. The case is separated, The fabric that connects the two pieces needs. I have decided that its time to let go of my flute and hopefully sell it to someone who will use it . Problem is I have no idea how much it is worth, so I have no idea how much to list it for? Is there a website to find values ( like with used cars)?
I have a Sterling Silver Open-hole W.T. Artmstrong that I bought brand new in 1987. The numbers on it read 80 37 43132. It has a gold lip mouth piece and the extended foot. It is in great condition, still sounds beautiful and also has a hard case in great condition.
